Medical Education and Quality Assurance in Faculty of Medicine
  • Involved in organizing and conducting strategically planned faculty development training workshops.
  • Under the leadership and managerial directions of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (FOM), oversee all aspects of the medical undergraduate curriculum and ensures that it conforms to the Mission Statement of the University, Faculty, and the standards required by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and the Malaysian Qualifying Agency (MQA).
  • Review and advise on curricular objectives, teaching and assessment strategies and curricular outcomes; perform vetting and moderate examination questions; analyses external examiners evaluation report.
  • Review beginning and ending of semesters' time-table and advise on consistency between content and their delivery. Conduct evaluation of teaching, course, and mentoring and perform educational research among WUC medical students and graduates on theirperformances such as: communication skills, competencies, professionalism etc.
  • Analyses research findings and write reports, convert the report in the form of manuscript and submit to relevant peer reviewed journal for publications.
  • Presents research findings in national and international medical educational conferences.
  • Assisted Dean FOM, in preparation of reply to MQA concerned areas and opportunities for improvement towards accreditation visits heldon 13-14 November 2018 just one month after my joining at WUC in October 2018; while played a leading role in curriculum reviewing, conducting faculty development workshop and assisting every staff in preparation and organization of course and teaching file in line with fulfillment of MMC and MQA requirements.
Teaching
Involve in teaching Community Medicine and Medical Ethics to undergraduate medical students; as well as teaching nursing students at WUC.

Involved, collaborate and provide consultancy services towards educational research and developmental activities aimed to achieving the University a higher-ranking category (recently achieved 3-STARs category from 0-STARs).
Chairing medical education and quality assurance committee towards continuous quality improvement in teaching-learning, curriculum development, students’ assessment and assure the quality through evaluations of teaching, courses, assessment and providing appropriate feedback/guidance.
